The journey begins in Albania, with vibrant Tirana, a capital city bursting with modern colors and a dynamic spirit. We then continue to Durrës, an ancient Adriatic city renowned for its Roman amphitheater and its charming seaside promenade. In Apollonia, we will step back in time among the ruins of a city founded by the Greeks and flourishing during the Roman era.
The tour goes on to Berat, the UNESCO-listed “city of a thousand windows,” with its white houses and hilltop castle overlooking the town, and to Shkodër, the cultural capital of northern Albania, nestled between lake and mountains and home to the legendary Rozafa Castle.
We then enter Montenegro, starting from Virpazar, the gateway to Lake Skadar, a natural oasis of rare beauty. Our journey continues to Budva, the jewel of the Montenegrin coast, famous for its old town, Venetian walls, and crystal-clear sea.
We will discover Cetinje, the former royal capital rich in history and tradition, and Njeguši, a village celebrated for its breathtaking views and distinctive local flavors. Finally, we reach Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage city set between mountains and sea, with medieval walls and the unique atmosphere of the southernmost fjord in Europe.

After breakfast at the hotel, panoramic visit of Durres, with stops at the Venetian Tower, the Byzantine Walls and the Roman Amphitheatre from the 2nd century BC, the largest in the Balkan Peninsula.
Continue to the Ardenica Monastery, where the wedding of Skanderbeg, Albanian national hero, was celebrated in 1451.
Then visit the Archaeological Park of Apollonia, one of the most important ancient cities of the Adriatic region, founded in the 6th century BC.

After breakfast at the hotel, visit of Berat, known as the “city of a thousand windows”. You will see the castle with its fortified old town, the Icon Museum, and some of the best-preserved churches and mosques. The city was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005.
Lunch and departure for Tirana. Panoramic city tour, with stops at the National History Museum, Skanderbeg Square and the Et’hem Bey Mosque.

After breakfast at the hotel, departure for Kruja, the ancient capital and birthplace of Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, national hero and symbol of resistance against the Ottoman occupation. Visit of the fortress, the museum dedicated to Skanderbeg and the Ethnographic Museum. At the end, walk along the old bazaar.
Lunch and continue to Shkodra, the largest city in northern Albania, located on the lake of the same name. Visit of Rozafa Castle and the historic center, with its main churches and mosques.

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the village of Virpazar, gateway to the ShkodrĂ National Park in Montenegro, where you will embark on a boat cruise on the Montenegrin part of the lake. Lunch and continuation to Budva, the pearl of the Montenegrin Riviera on the Adriatic Sea, with a visit to the medieval citadel. Free time to explore the historic center on your own. Hotel accommodation, dinner, and overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for Cetinje, the ancient capital of Montenegro founded in the 15th century, with a visit to the Royal Palace, now the National Museum. Continue to Lovćen National Park, stopping at the village of Njegusi for lunch. In the afternoon, travelling along a scenic road, arrival in Kotor, an ancient maritime city surrounded by medieval walls, with a visit to the Cathedral of St. Tryphon. Return to Budva, dinner in a restaurant and overnight stay.
Departure for Dulcigno (Ulcinj), the southernmost town on the Montenegrin coast, with a visit to the town and its museum. Continue to Albania and lunch in ShkodrĂ. In the afternoon, stop in Lezhe to admire the castle, the mausoleum with the tomb of Scanderbeg and the ruins of the ancient Greek-Roman colony of Lissus.
Continue to Tirana, dinner in a restaurant and overnight stay.
